✦ What is a zine?
A zine is short for “fanzine” or “magazine.” Artists collaborate together to create an unofficial collection of artworks and merch based on a theme, character, or ship.✦ What types of content will this zine feature?
This is a wedding themed zine for the couple Childe x Lumine. We hope to feature moments of their engagement, wedding planning process, the actual celebration day and the honeymoon!✦ Is this zine for-profit or for-charity?
This is a for-profit zine.✦ Will the zine be physical or digital?
The zine will be physical with merch and a digital zine. Types of merch will be determined by interest check.✦ Where will the zine be shipping from?
The zine will be shipping from Canada!✦ Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes! Please feel free to apply to more than 1 position.✦ Are comic artists welcome to apply?
We would love to include short comics in the zine. We welcome comic artists to apply!✦ What is the word count limit for fics in the zine?
We are hoping to have stories around 2 - 2.5k words for the zine. For poetry, around 1-2 pages.✦ Is it ok to apply if I normally draw NSFW/18+ art?
For the application, we ask that you please keep your portfolio SFW, but we will not judge what you draw on your spare time. We welcome you to apply!✦ What is expected from Contributors?
We would like each contributor to make 1-3 pieces of artworks/writing for the zine. To be fair to those who contribute more for the zine, the payout will be determined by how many pieces are contributed. Meaning if they contribute more pieces, they will receive a higher compensation at the end of the project.✦ How will Contributors be compensated?
Contributors and Mods are guaranteed a digital copy of the zine! If the zine makes a profit, we would love to ship full bundles to all the participants of the project! In the case where the zine does not break even, contributors will have the choice to purchase the zine and merch at production cost. Hello! I'm Eveen, the head mod of this zine. I will be handling the finance and production roles. I'm also managing the social media and organization for this Chilumi Wedding zine. I've been running a small business for 6+ years and have worked with many manufactures to produce different merchandise. My work experience as a production designer makes me familiar with designing and producing multi page documents for print as well. I'm so excited to work with fellow fans of Chilumi!As I am a full time illustrator myself, I will also be contributing art and merch to this zine project.Zine Experience:
